CHARACTERISTICS OF EXTRAETIL:

EXTRAETIL is a new granulous product absolutely ecological, with a macroreticular and microporous structure and an extraordinary capacity of absorption of ethylene.

EXTRAETIL was studied and tested in our laboratories and its capacity of absorption is on the average from 2 to 4 times higher, under the same weight, than the other similar reactive substances which exploit the same principle, that is KMnO₄ (potassium permanganate). Our firm produces and sells EXTRAETIL at a very profitable cost. 

EXTRAETIL has the following advantages:

It is characterized by a high degree of porosity, active surface of exchange 60/70 sqm/gr.

The purification action of ethylene is performed not only outside the surface of the granule surface, but even inside the volume of the pores.

The absorption capacity ranges from 3.5 gr to 4.0 gr of ethylene/kg of EXTRAETIL, used with our absorber BK/3.

It also eliminates some harmful gases such as hydrocarbons, and same toxic once such as S0₂.Density 1070/1020 gr/lt (according to the granulometry).

Air filtering by means of EXTRAETIL with our absorber "BK/3" keeps the ethylene concentration near 0 (change the product in time). See Extraetil Test on page 30.

Granules, when absorb ethylene, oxidize and develop CO₂ and H₂O and turns its color from violet into brown.

To be sure that some active principle still remains, take some granules out and pour them in a small cup full of water: if the water gets violet, the principles are still active.

EXTRAETIL is supplied in cartridges containing 14 kg. of product.

They are made in such a way as to be inserted inside our BK/3, or in 10 kg or 50 kg containers to be used in other machines, too.

Moreover, EXTRAETIL is supplied in mattresses of about kg. 2, (cm. 70 length), that can be used in cupboards, containers or small cool-rooms for fruits and flowers (see the following example).
